It is nice typing with both hands, seeing as how I am normally typing with one while holding a baby! Maybe I can catch up on a few things....
During the past 2 weeks Calvin and Chloe turned 5 months old. They are getting so big! They sleep through the night now, have 3 pretty consistent naps, are trying to roll over but have not quite made it (thankfully.... I don't know what we'll do when they can move?!), they laugh, smile, and hold each others' hands, and they are so dang CHUBBY!!! I love it!
One reason why we don't have many Christmas pictures posted on here is that we are in desperate need of a new camera. Most of our Christmas pictures turned out fuzzy. But, instead of getting a new camera, we are getting Calvin a helmet! And it is not because Sean desperately wants a son who plays football! Actually, when Calvin was first born he would always turn his head to the right side. Because of that the right side of his head has become flat! Poor little guy! He will be fine and he should only have to wear it for 2-3 months. I will write more about it later when we have more information. But it had better work... those things are expensive!!!:)
What else has happened during these last couple of weeks??
Oh yeah, Gracie turned 7! Now that is amazing! She has become such a cute and funny little girl! She loves all things girly, but she is also our toughest, most competitive child!! She loves clothes, Hannah Montana, soccer, Webkinz (she has 4... their names are Fuzzy, Snowball, Cuddly, and Zoe), McDonald's, Junie B. Jones books, Taylor Swift, playing with friends, swimming, all animals, singing, playing the piano, High School Musical, and cooking!!
On Christmas Eve, not only did we have sick children, but my parents were sick as well. We normally have Christmas Eve dinner over there. Since we could not do that, we had a nice dinner at home. We got out the Christmas china, candles, goblets... the whole bit. I normally don't do that with 6 kids and all!! Gracie came to sit down at the table and said, "Mom, I feel weird. It feels like we're rich!" We thought that was pretty funny! If that is all it takes to fool her by just using the "nice" dishes instead of the BSU Bronco plates from the dollar store, I think her future husband will have it pretty easy!
Anyway, I think I will go and enjoy my "Sweet Escape" right now by either doing laundry, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning the kitchen, or maybe just watching "Mama Mia" while Sean is not here to ruin it for me!!!
